A featherweight bout betweenDan Ige and Joanderson Brito was scheduled for the event.[4] However, Brito was forced to pull from the event due to a leg injury.[5] He was replaced by Chepe Mariscal.[6] Subsequently, Ige withdrew from this bout on the day ofUFC 303 to serve as a replacement fighter at that event.[7][8] Mariscal was eventually booked to faceDamon Jackson atUFC Fight Night: Tybura vs. Spivac 2.[9]
