UFC on ESPN: Kattar vs. Chikadze (also known asUFC on ESPN 32 andUFC Vegas 46) was amixed martial arts event produced by theUltimate Fighting Championship that took place on January 15, 2022 at theUFC Apex facility inEnterprise, Nevada, part of theLas Vegas Metropolitan Area, United States.[2]

A featherweight bout betweenCalvin Kattar andGiga Chikadze headlined the event.[3]

A women's flyweight bout betweenKay Hansen andJasmine Jasudavicius was scheduled for the event.[4] However, the pairing was moved toUFC 270 due to undisclosed reasons.[5]

Ashley Yoder was expected to faceVanessa Demopoulos in a women's strawweight bout at the event.[6] Yoder eventually withdrew due to undisclosed reasons and was replaced by Silvana Gomez Juarez.[7] The bout was pushed back toUFC 270 a few days before the event.[8]

A middleweight bout betweenJoaquin Buckley andAbdul Razak Alhassan was scheduled for the event.[9] However, the pairing was cancelled after Alhassan withdrew for undisclosed reasons.[10] The duo was rescheduled forUFC Fight Night 201 a month later.[11]

A flyweight between Kleydson Rodrigues andZarrukh Adashev was scheduled for the event.[12] However, in early January 2022, it was reported that the bout was canceled as Rodrigues has tested positive forinfluenza (H3N2) and Adashev has suffered an injury.[13]

A welterweight bout betweenMuslim Salikhov andMichel Pereira was scheduled for the event.[14] However, Salikhov withdrew from the bout for undisclosed reasons and the bout was cancelled.[15] Pereira was rescheduled against André Fialho forUFC 270.[16]

A featherweight bout betweenT.J. Brown andGabriel Benitez was scheduled for the event.[17] Three days before the event, Benitez was forced to pull out andCharles Rosa replaced him, therefore changing the contest to the lightweight division.[18]

Saidyokub Kakhramonov was scheduled to meetBrian Kelleher in a bantamweight bout.[19] However, Kakhramonov withdrew from the bout due to undisclosed reasons and was replaced byKevin Croom, shifting the contest to the featherweight division.[20]
