The event marked the promotion's fourth consecutive annual visit to Paris and first sinceUFC Fight Night: Moicano vs. Saint Denis in September 2024.[3]

A middleweight bout betweenNassourdine Imavov andCaio Borralho headlined the event.[4]

A lightweight bout betweenBenoît Saint Denis andMaurício Ruffy took place as the co-main event.[5]

A women's flyweight bout between promotional newcomer Kennedy Freeman and Yuneisy Duben was scheduled for this event.[6] However, both Duben and Freeman had to withdraw due to injury, so the bout was subsequently cancelled.[7][8]

A lightweight bout betweenFarès Ziam and Kauê Fernandes was scheduled for this event.[9] However, Ziam withdrew for personal reasons following the death of his grandmother and was replaced by promotional newcomer Harry Hardwick.[10][11]

Former three-timeBellator Featherweight World Champion (also one-timeBellator Lightweight World Champion)Patrício Pitbull and promotional newcomerLosene Keita were expected to meet in a featherweight bout at the main card.[12] However, at the weigh-ins, Keita weighed in at 149 pounds, three pounds over the division's non-title fight limit, resulting in the cancellation of the bout.[13]

The event set a new UFC record for themost knockouts in a single event, registering nine knockouts and surpassing the previous record of eight, which had been shared by nine other events.[15] The event also matched the UFC record for themost finishes in a single event, tyingUFC Fight Night: Rockhold vs. Bisping,UFC 224, andUFC 281 with a total of 11 finishes.[16]
