Ed Herman was supposed to replace an injuredJames Irvin againstWilson Gouveia atUFC 102 but then Gouveia suffered an injury. Herman instead facedAaron Simpson at the event.[5]Dan Miller was set to replace Herman. However, an injured Miller was replaced byJay Silva againstCB Dollaway.[6]
An injury forcedChris Lytle off the card.[7]Jake Ellenberger replaced him.[8]
Kyle Bradley pulled out of his matchup withSam Stout due to injury[9] and was replaced withPhillipe Nover.[2] However, on the night of the fight, Nover suffered from a seizure in the locker room. His match against Sam Stout was cancelled as a result.[10]
