A lightweight bout betweenGrant Dawson andBobby Green headlined the event.[3]

A featherweight bout betweenDaniel Pineda and Khusein Askhabov was scheduled for this event.[4] However on September 11, Askhabov was arrested after being connected to a kidnap and torture crime in Thailand and the bout was cancelled.[5]

A women's flyweight bout betweenMontana De La Rosa andStephanie Egger was expected to take place at the event.[6] However, Egger pulled out due to undisclosed reasons and was replaced byJJ Aldrich.[7]

A bantamweight bout betweenChris Gutiérrez andMontel Jackson was expected to take place at the event. However, Jackson withdrew for unknown reasons and Gutiérrez was instead scheduled to faceAlateng Heili one week later atUFC Fight Night: Yusuff vs. Barboza.[8]

A light heavyweight betweenIon Cuțelaba andPhilipe Lins was expected to take place at the event.[9] However, the bout was cancelled the day of the event for unknown reasons.[10]
