Tyler Hunter Devon Booker (born April 12, 2004) is an American professionalfootballoffensive guard for theDallas Cowboys of theNational Football League (NFL). He playedcollege football for theAlabama Crimson Tide and was selected by the Cowboys in the first round of the2025 NFL draft.
Booker was born on April 12, 2004, inNew Haven, Connecticut.[1] He attendedSt. Luke's School inNew Canaan, Connecticut, before transferring toIMG Academy inBradenton, Florida. Coming out of high school, he was rated as a four-starrecruit and the number 39 overall prospect.[2] Booker committed to playcollege football for theAlabama Crimson Tide over offers from schools such as Florida, Georgia, Oregon, and Ohio State.[2][3]
As afreshman in 2022, Booker played in 12 games making one start.[4] In week 4 of the 2023 season, Booker was named the SEC offensive lineman of the week for his performance in a win overOle Miss.[5] During the 2023 season, he started in 12 games for Alabama, allowing just two sacks and four pressures on the year.[6] For his performance, he was named second-team All-SEC.[7] He earned first team All-American honors in the 2024 season.[8]
