Tumbler Ridge Secondary School (TRSS) is a publicsecondary school inTumbler Ridge, British Columbia, Canada. TRSS is operated bySchool District 59 Peace River South and is the designated secondary school for the town's primary school. TRSS is a participant in the school district's International Student Study Program.[2] For the 2025/2026 school year, the school has an enrollment of 191 students fromgrades 7 to 12.[1]
On February 10, 2026, the school was one of two locations where amass shooting occurred, resulting in the deaths of 7 individuals at the school and injuries to 27 more. The perpetrator, 18-year-old Jesse van Rootselaar, apparently took her own life afterward.[3]
