
TheTulkarm Subdistrict was one of thesubdistricts of Mandatory Palestine. It was located around the city ofTulkarm. After the1948 Arab-Israeli War, the subdistrict disintegrated, the western part became part of theCentral District ofIsrael and the eastern part, became a part of theJordanian annexation of the West Bank from 1948 to 1967).[citation needed] Most of the eastern part is today theTulkarm Governorate, part of theState of Palestine.
