Tteok-kkochi (Korean떡꼬치;lit. rice cake skewer) is a popular South Koreanstreet food consisting of skewered and friedtteok (rice cakes) brushed with spicygochujang-based sauce.[1]

Etymology

Tteok () means rice cakes, andkkochi (꼬치) means food on skewers or skewers themselves used for culinary purposes.[2]
