Trigonictis is an extinct genus of mustelid related to the livinggrison. It lived in North America during thePliocene toPleistocene.[1] Fossil specimens have been found across the United States, fromWashington andOregon in the northwest toCalifornia andFlorida in the south.[2]
Two species are known;Trigonictis macrodon andTrigonictis cookii.
