Trident Basin Seaplane Base (FAALID:T44) is a city-owned, public-useseaplane base located in theCity of Kodiak, in theKodiak Island Borough of theU.S. state ofUnited States.[1] This seaplane base is located 4nautical miles (7 km) northeast of theKodiak Airport.[3]
As perFederal Aviation Administration records, Trident Basin SPB had 11,218 passenger boardings (enplanements) incalendar year 2008, an increase of 338% from the 2,561 enplanements in 2007.[2] Trident Basin SPB is included in the FAA'sNational Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (2009–2013), whichcategorizes it as ageneral aviation facility.[4]
