Travis Moore (born August 5, 1970[1]) is an American former professionalfootball player and coach. He was most recently thereceivers coach for theOttawa Redblacks of theCanadian Football League (CFL). Moore has also been a coach for theHamilton Tiger-Cats,BC Lions,Edmonton Eskimos andSaskatchewan Roughriders. As a player, Moore played 10 seasons as aslotback for theCalgary Stampeders and theSaskatchewan Roughriders, winning twoGrey Cup championships with the Stampeders in 1998 and 2001. He also played in the one and onlyXFL season as a wide receiver for theSan Francisco Demons team that competed in the league's championship game.

Coaching career

On November 1, 2022, after adisappointing season, the Riders announced they would not be renewing Moore's contract, along with three other offensive coaches.[2] On December 21, 2022, the Redblacks announced that Moore would rejoin Ottawa for the2023 season as the team'sreceivers and pass game coordinator coach.[3] Moore had previously been a member of the Redblacks' coaching staff from 2014 to 2017. On May 8, 2025, it was announced that Moore had resigned for personal reasons.[4]

Political involvement

In February 2022, Moore donated US$17,760 to theCanada convoy protest through their GiveSendGo campaign.[5]
