Trachysalambria is a genus ofprawns. It was erected in 1934 byMartin Burkenroad, as a subgenus ofTrachypenaeus, withT. curvirostris as itstype species. That subgenus was elevated to the rank of genus in 1997 byIsabel Pérez Farfante andBrian Kensley.[1] It contains the following species:[2][3][4]
