Torrezno (plural:torreznos) is a kind of fried baconsnack produced inSpain.
A staple of bar tops in Spain,torreznos temporarily lost popularity to some extent due to its highly caloric nature.[1] They are also sold as snack insupermarkets. They are made of the outer part of the pork belly, marinated withsalt andpaprika,cured (or alsosmoked), and later fried.[1][2] Associated withSoria,torreznos produced there have been granted a specificmarca de garantía [es].[3] Back in 2014The Guardian describedtorreznos as "deliciously decadent fried pork belly chunks".[4][5][6]
