Torbjörn Harrysson (1943-2010) was a Swedishmotorcycle speedway rider.[1] He earned 26 caps for theSweden national speedway team.[2]
Harrysson was a leading speedway rider in the 1960s. He reached the final of theSpeedway World Championship on three occasions; in the1966 Individual Speedway World Championship,1968 Individual Speedway World Championship and the1969 Individual Speedway World Championship.[3][4]
He won the silver medal in 1968 and bronze medal in 1967 at theSwedish Championship.[5]
Harrysson helpedSweden win theWorld Team Cup in 1967 as well as theSpeedway World Pairs Championship in 1968.
He rode in thetop tier of British Speedway from 1967 until 1968, riding forNewport Wasps.[6][7]
