Torahime Station (虎姫駅,Torahime-eki) is a passengerrailway station located in the city ofNagahama, Shiga, Japan, operated by theWest Japan Railway Company (JR West).
Torahime Station is served by theHokuriku Main Line, and is 12.8 kilometers from the terminus of the line atMaibara.
The station consists of two opposedside platforms connected by a footbridge. The station is staffed.

Torahime station opened on 1 June 1902 on theJapanese Government Railway (JGR) Hokuriku Main Line. The station came under the aegis of the West Japan Railway Company (JR West) on April 1, 1987, due to the privatization ofJapan National Railway.
Station numbering was introduced in March 2018 with Torahime being assigned station number JR-A08.[2][3]
In fiscal 2019, the station was used by an average of 709 passengers daily (boarding passengers only).[4]
