Thomas Thompson "Tony" Whitson (1885–1945)[1] was a South African professionalsoccer player who played as aleft back forNewcastle United between 1905 and 1919.[2] He made 124 appearances inthe Football League, and 146 across all competitions, representing them in the FA Cup Final in1910 and1911.
