Anthony Wayne Peterson (born January 23, 1972) is an American former professionalfootball player who was alinebacker in theNational Football League (NFL). He played six seasons for theSan Francisco 49ers (1994–1996, 1998–1999) and theChicago Bears (1997). He playedcollege football for theNotre Dame Fighting Irish and was one of 15 members oftheir 1993 team to be selected in the1994 NFL draft.[2][3]
