Tone Sønsterud

Tone Merete Sønsterud (born 17 May 1959) is a Norwegiantrade union leader and politician who represents theArbeiderpartiet. She is deputy leader ofLO Stat, and the Arbeiderpartiet's fourth candidate fromHedmark at the2009 Norwegian parliamentary election, and he lives inKongsvinger.[1] She was deputy representative for theStortinget 2001-05 and from 2005 to 2009 and has attended for longer.[1]

Sønsterud has a working background inStatistics Norway on Kongsvinger since 1977.[2] She has worked withNorwegian Civil Service Union, and sits on theNorwegian Confederation of Trade Unions representative board. Tone Sønsterud was elected to themunicipal council forKongsvinger Municipality from 1984–88, and to theHedmark county council from 1988–1991.[2]
