Thomas William Farrell (born 23 March 1991) is an Englishlong-distance runner[4] who competed at the2016 Summer Olympics.
Farrell representedEngland at the2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.[5]
Farrell was twiceBritish 5000 metres champion after winning theBritish Athletics Championships in 2014 and 2015.[6][7]
He represented his country at the2015 World Championships in Athletics and2016 IAAF World Indoor Championships. Both his parents are former athletes. His father David was a steeplechaser and his mother Jennifer Little was a high jumper.[2]
At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, he representedGreat Britain in the 5,000 metres event.[8]
