Tomas Jiménez Álvarez (born 11 May 1979), is a Spanish formerfootballer who played as aleft defender.
Born inSalamanca,Region of León, Tomás finished his graduation with localUD Salamanca's youth setup, and made his senior debuts withthe reserves in theTercera División. On 20 September 1998 he appeared in his first game with the main squad, playing the last four minutes of a 3–1La Liga home win againstDeportivo de La Coruña,[2] and he scored his first official goal roughly three years later, but in a 2–4 away loss toCórdoba CF in theSegunda División.[3]
Tomás left Salamanca in 2008, and went on to resume his career inSegunda División B, representingZamora CF,CP Cacereño,[4]CF Villanovense[5] andCD Guijuelo.[6]
