Toltén River is ariver located in theLa Araucanía Region ofChile. It rises atVillarrica Lake, close to the city of thesame name. Its major tributary is theAllipén River. From its confluence with the Allipén, the river follows abraided course.
After flowing for about 123 km, the river reaches thePacific Ocean nearPunta Nilhue, where it is about 500 m wide.[1]
