Togtoh County (Mongolian:ᠲᠣᠭᠲᠠᠬᠤ ᠰᠢᠶᠠᠨ;Chinese:托克托县) is acounty ofInner Mongolia Autonomous Region,NorthChina, it is under the administration of theprefecture-level city ofHohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia, located on the north bank of theYellow River at which point that great river turns out of theOrdos Loop toward the south. It is under the administration of the regional capital ofHohhot, 78 kilometres (48 mi) to the northeast, with a population of around 166,192.
Itsvillages includeHekou, formerly known as Hokow and Tchagan Kouren, which was once an important caravan center on thenorth bend of theYellow River.
Togtoh County is made up of 5towns.
