Progesterone/hydroxyprogesterone heptanoate/α-tocopherol palmitate (P4/OHPH/VE), sold under the brand nameTocogestan, is acombination medication ofprogesterone (P4), a short-actingprogestogen,hydroxyprogesterone heptanoate (OHPH), a long-acting progestogen, andα-tocopherol palmitate, aprodrug ofα-tocopherol and form ofvitamin E, which was previously used inFrance to supportpregnancy in women but is no longer available.[1][2][3][4] It contained 50 mg P4, 200 mg OHPH, and 250 mg in 2 mLoil solution, was provided in the form of 2 mLampoules, and was administered byintramuscular injection.[1][4]
