Timini Egbuson is aNigerian filmactor.[1] He is known for his roles in the TV seriesTinsel and now in other Nigerian home videos.
Timini was born inBayelsa State in the south-south region ofNigeria and is the younger brother of actressDakore Akande.[2] He got his primary school education from Greenspring Montessori, The Afro School and St. Catherine's. He attended Adebayo Mokuolu College,Lagos State, Nigeria. He studied psychology in theUniversity of Lagos.[3] He graduated in the year 2011. He started his acting career in 2010, on M-net's soap operaTinsel. At the 2020AMVCA awards, Timini won the Best Actor in a drama for his role inElevator baby.[4]
In April 2020, he joined several actors likeJemima Osunde,Nick Mutuma andLerato Walaza along with several actors fromKenya,South Africa,Nigeria, and theIvory Coast to help with the campaign to stop the spread ofCOVID-19. It was achieved through a 60-part miniseries ofMTVShuga, which was initiated in order to raise awareness in the global fight to flatten theCOVID-19 curve.[5]
