Tibet (French:[tibɛ]), the pseudonym ofGilbert Gascard ([gaskaʁ]; 29 October 1931 – 3 January 2010), was a French cartoonist in theFranco-Belgian comics tradition. Tibet, who debuted in 1947, is known for work produced for theFranco-Belgian comics magazineTintin, most notably the long-running seriesRic Hochet andChick Bill.[1]
