Thymidine diphosphate (TDP) ordeoxythymidine diphosphate (dTDP) (alsothymidine pyrophosphate,dTPP) is anucleotide diphosphate. It is anester ofpyrophosphoric acid with thenucleosidethymidine. dTDP consists of thepyrophosphategroup, thepentosesugarribose, and thenucleobasethymine. Unlike the otherdeoxyribonucleotides, thymidine diphosphate does not always contain the "deoxy" prefix in its name.[1]
