Founded in 1968 by Bill Thompson, Tom Ventulett, and Ray Stainback, tvsdesign has designed several notable buildings in greaterAtlanta and beyond throughout the years, including theOmni Coliseum andComplex, theGeorgia Dome, theAT&T Promenade buildings, theCNN Center, the Concourse at Landmark Center inSandy Springs, theGeorgia Aquarium, theGeorgia World Congress Center buildings, and theMercedes-Benz Stadium.

Also running offices inChicago,Dubai andShanghai, tvsdesign has designed several prominent buildings outside ofAtlanta as well, including theWashington DC Convention Center, theNanjing International Expo Center, thePennsylvania Convention Center inPhiladelphia, and theVision Tower inDubai.

In 2016, the firm named Janet Simpson its third president and first female president.[4]
