Thomas Fletcher (born October 1, 1998) is an American former professionalfootballlong snapper who is the special teams coordinator for theWest Alabama Tigers. He playedcollege football atAlabama, where he won thePatrick Mannelly Award in 2020. Fletcher was selected by theCarolina Panthers in the sixth round of the2021 NFL draft, but missed his rookie season due to a hip injury and was waived prior to the 2022 season. He was previously a special teams graduate assistant for theFlorida Gators.
Fletcher played forUniversity of Alabama from2017 to2020. He was a four-year starter playing in 55 games over the course of his college career.[1] While at Alabama, Fletcher won twoCFP national championships.[2] He also won thePatrick Mannelly Award as college football's top long snapper in 2020.[3]

Fletcher was drafted by theCarolina Panthers in the sixth round (222nd overall) of the2021 NFL draft.[7] He signed his four-year rookie contract on May 13, 2021.[8] He suffered a hip injury prior to the regular season and was placed oninjured reserve.[9] He was waived on August 4, 2022.[10]
On November 17, 2022, Fletcher was drafted by theSeattle Sea Dragons of theXFL.[11] The Sea Dragons folded when the XFL and USFL merged to create theUnited Football League (UFL).[12]
On May 10, 2024, Fletcher announced that he was hired byUF to serve as their special teams assistant.
On January 22, 2024, Fletcher announced that he was hired byUCLA to serve as their special teams assistant.[13]
