The film marks the second directorial of George Kora after his debut filmThirike (2021).[3] George, who co-wroteNjandukalude Nattil Oridavela (2017) with Althaf Salim, has also written the film's script.[6] After his first collaboration with George Kora inThirike, Abraham Joseph produced the film under the banner Nationwide Pictures.[7] Syamaprakash M. S. and Lal Krishna were recruited as the cinematographer and editor.[8] In an interview withThe New Indian Express, George stated that he always intended to do a film withSharaf U Dheen.[3]Principal photography began on 17 August 2022 atBharata Mata College with a customarypuja ceremony and switch-on.[9][10]Kakkanad was the main filming location.[7] The shootingwrapped up in September 2022.[11]
