Thinoomba is a rurallocality in theFraser Coast Region,Queensland, Australia.[2] In the2021 census, Thinoomba had a population of 16 people.[1]
TheMaryborough–Biggenden Road (State Route 86) runs along the northern boundary.[3]
Thinoomba Provisional School opened circa 1898.[4][5] It closed in 1908.[6] It was on the eastern side of Thinoomba Road (25°36′40″S152°27′22″E / 25.61116°S 152.45609°E /-25.61116; 152.45609 (Thinoomba Provisional School (former))).[7][8] Circa 1918, the school building was relocated to Myrtle Creek to be the new Myrtle Creek State School atYerra.[9]
Gungaloon State School opened on 27 October 1921 and closed in 1931.[10] It was on the eastern side of the junction of Thinoomba Road and Ross Road (25°34′40″S152°26′12″E / 25.57786°S 152.43654°E /-25.57786; 152.43654 (Gungaloon State School (former))).[11][8]
In the2016 census, Thinoomba had a population of 31 people.[12]
In the2021 census, Thinoomba had a population of 16 people.[1]
