The Maritime is amixed-use development complex withinGeorge Town in theMalaysian state ofPenang. Located atKarpal Singh Drive, it consists of two residential skyscrapers collectively namedThe Maritime Suites, andThe Maritime Piazza, the retail component of the mixed development. The Maritime Suites consist of Suites A and B, which contains 36 and 40 floors ofSOHO suites respectively.[3][4][6]
Built byIJM Corporation, a Malaysian property conglomerate, The Maritime formed part of the development of theIJM Promenade, which was subsequently renamed afterKarpal Singh, a former localDAP politician,[citation needed]
