The Lake Houston Observer is a weekly community newspaper serving theCrosby andHuffman communities in northeastHarris County, Texas, United States.

It was owned byASP Westward LP until 2012, when it was acquired by1013 Star Communications as part of its acquisition of Houston Community Newspapers.[1] In 2016, theHearst Corporation acquired Houston Community Newspapers; it is the parent company of theHouston Chronicle.[2] As part of the deal theObserver became a part of the Hearst Corporation.[3]
