The Carmi Times was an Americandaily newspaper published inCarmi, Illinois. In 1987, the paper was acquired byHollinger.[2] Former ownerGateHouse Media purchased roughly 160 daily and weekly newspapers from Hollinger in 1997.[3]
The daily newspaper covers theWhite County communities of Carmi,Grayville andNorris City. GateHouse also publishes aWeekly Times in Carmi, and theNorris City Banner weekly.
