The Branch River, awatercourse of theMid-Coast Council[2] system, is located in theMid North Coast andUpper Hunter regions ofNew South Wales, Australia.
The Branch River rises on south west of the settlement of Crawford River, below Girvan, south southwest ofBulahdelah, and flows generally south and then southwest, joined by five minortributaries, before reaching itsconfluence with theKaruah River north ofKaruah. The river descends 62 metres (203 ft) over its 27 kilometres (17 mi)course.[3]
