The Bowery Hotel

TheBowery Hotel is a hotel at 335Bowery, in theEast Village,New York City, which was founded, developed and conceived of by the nightlife and hospitality impresarioEric Goode.[1]

Notable guests have includedZayn Malik,Jennifer Jason Leigh,Gigi Hadid,Jennifer Lopez,Liv Tyler,Charli XCX,Kate Hudson,Sting,Keith Richards,Bruce Willis,Kiefer Sutherland,Blake Lively,Jude Law,Robert Pattinson,Alison Brie,Jonah Hill,Chris Hemsworth,David Beckham,Charlotte Gainsbourg andKristen Stewart.[2]

In 2011Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell held a second celebration of their betrothal at the hotel. Guests at the fete includedBarbara Walters (Shevell's second cousin, who introduced the couple), then–New York City mayorMichael Bloomberg,Ralph Lauren,Yoko Ono, andSean Lennon.[3]

The painterDomingo Zapata has kept an art studio atop the hotel.[4]

The restaurant in the hotel is Gemma.[5]

Pets weighing 30 lbs. or less are allowed.[6]

The hotel is referenced in the song "It Ain't Me" byKygo andSelena Gomez.[7]Father John Misty's 2018 albumGod's Favourite Customer was inspired by a 2-month period in which the singer-songwriter's life 'blew up' and he spent the duration of this period living in the hotel.[8]Omar Apollo also references the hotel in "3 Boys" where he sings about falling in love with someone there.
