Dane Harrison Acker (born April 1, 1999) is an Americanprofessional baseballpitcher in theTexas Rangers organization.

Acker attendedBrenham High School inBrenham, Texas.[1] Acker pitched to a 5–2 record with a 1.79 ERA his senior season of 2017.[1] Undrafted out of high school, he attendedRice University to play for theOwls. Acker went 5–2 with a 4.20 ERA and 32 strikeouts over40+23 innings his freshman season.[2] Following that year, he transferred toSan Jacinto College.[3] As a sophomore with San Jacinto in 2019, Acker went 10–0 with a 2.36 ERA and 97 strikeouts over76+13 innings.[4] Acker was drafted by theArizona Diamondbacks in the 23rd round of the2019 MLB draft, but did not sign and transferred to theUniversity of Oklahoma to play for theSooners.[5] Acker played for theChatham Anglers of theCape Cod Baseball League in the summer of 2019.[6][7] In the COVID shortened season of 2020, Acker went 1–1 with a 3.51 ERA and 28 strikeouts over25+23 innings for OU.[8] In a game on March 1, Acker threw a no-hitter versusLSU, in which he recorded 11 strikeouts.[9][10] Acker was drafted by theOakland Athletics in the 4th round of the2020 MLB draft.[11] He signed with them for a $447,400signing bonus.[12]

Acker did not play professionally in 2020 due to the cancellation of theMinor League Baseball season because of theCOVID-19 pandemic. On February 6, 2021, Acker,Khris Davis, andJonah Heim were traded toTexas Rangers in exchange forElvis Andrus,Aramis Garcia and cash considerations.[13]

Acker made two starts for theDown East Wood Ducks of theLow-A East in 2021 before suffering a tornUCL and underwentTommy John surgery in May 2021.[14][15][16] After successfully rehabbing, Acker returned to game action in July 2022. He split the remainder of 2022 between theACL Rangers of theRookie-levelArizona Complex League and theHickory Crawdads of theHigh-ASouth Atlantic League, going a combined 0–3 with a 6.31 ERA and 31 strikeouts over25+23 innings.[17][18][19][20] Acker opened the 2023 season on the injured list, until May 24 when he was assigned back to Hickory. Over 6 games with Hickory, he went 0–0 with a 2.11 ERA and 25 strikeouts over21+13 innings. He was promoted to theFrisco RoughRiders of theDouble-ATexas League on July 3.[21] Over 46 innings for Frisco, Acker went 1–1 with a 2.74 ERA and 51 strikeouts.[22]

Robert Coolidge Ahlstrom (born June 19, 1999) is an Americanprofessional baseballpitcher in theTexas Rangers organization.

Ahlstrom attendedNorth Eugene High School inEugene, Oregon.[23] Undrafted out of high school, he attendedChemeketa Community College. During his freshman season of 2018, he went 4–3 with a 2.55 ERA and 84 strikeouts, while hitting .302 as a utility player.[24] He then transferred to TheUniversity of Oregon to playcollege baseball for theDucks. Ahlstrom played three seasons (2019–2021) for Oregon. His best season was as a senior when he went 9–3 with a 2.50 ERA and 92 strikeouts over 90 innings.[25][26] In 2019, he playedcollegiate summer baseball with theFalmouth Commodores of theCape Cod Baseball League.[27]

Ahlstrom was drafted by theNew York Yankees in the 7th Round of the2021 MLB draft and signed with them.[28] He did not play professionally in 2021 after signing.[29]

On April 2, 2022, Ahlstrom andAlbert Abreu were traded to theTexas Rangers in exchange forJose Trevino.[30] He split the 2022 season between theDown East Wood Ducks of theLow-ACarolina League and theHickory Crawdads of theHigh-ASouth Atlantic League, going a combined 2–10 with a 5.04 ERA and 106 strikeouts over89+13 innings. He split the 2023 season between Hickory and theFrisco RoughRiders of theDouble-ATexas League, going a combined 3–1 with a 3.86 ERA and 79 strikeouts over58+13 innings. Following that season, he played in thePuerto Rican Winter League for theCangrejeros de Santurce, going 2–0 with a 0.64 ERA and 16 strikeouts over 14 innings.[31] Ahlstrom split the 2024 season between Frisco and theRound Rock Express of theTriple-APacific Coast League, going a combined 6–1 with a 2.53 ERA and 72 strikeouts over 64 innings.[32] He opened the 2025 season splitting time between Frisco and Round Rock.

Cameron Andrew Cauley (born February 6, 2003) is an Americanprofessional baseballinfielder in theTexas Rangers organization.

Cauley attendedBarbers Hill High School inMont Belvieu, Texas.[33] Cauley played on the Babers Hill football team, where he was an all-state wide receiver his junior year.[34] During his senior season of 2021, Cauley hit .450 with 6 home runs, 35 RBI, and 52 stolen bases and won the Class 5A Baseball State Championship.[35] He was named the All-Greater Houston hitter of the year by theHouston Chronicle.[36] Cauley had committed to playcollege baseball atTexas Tech.[37] Entering the 2021 draft, he was ranked as the 85th overall prospect byBaseball America, the 92nd by MLB Pipeline, and the 138th byESPN.[38] He was drafted by theTexas Rangers in the 3rd round, with the 73rd overall selection, in the2021 MLB draft. He signed with Texas for an over-slot $1MMsigning bonus.[39][40]

Cauley made his professional debut in 2021 with theACL Rangers of theRookie-levelArizona Complex League, hitting .255/.311/.383/.694 with 17 RBI and 10 stolen bases over 24 games.[41] He spent the 2022 season with theDown East Wood Ducks of theLow-ACarolina League, hitting .209/.306/.289/.595 with 2 home runs, 21 RBI, and 38 stolen bases over 77 games.[42] Returning to Down East to open the 2023 season, Cauley hit .244/.331/.405/.736 with 7 home runs, 33 RBI, and 22 stolen bases over 66 games.[43] He was promoted to theHickory Crawdads of theHigh-ASouth Atlantic League on July 18.[44] Over 34 games for Hickory in 2023, Cauley hit .248/.336/.424/.760 with 5 home runs, 24 RBI, and 14 stolen bases. Following the 2023 season, Cauley played for theSurprise Saguaros of theArizona Fall League.[45]

Aidan Curry (born July 25, 2002) is an Americanprofessional baseballpitcher in theTexas Rangers organization.

Curry attendedFordham Preparatory School inthe Bronx,New York City.[46] Curry had committed to playcollege baseball atBucknell University. Curry had his senior season of high school in 2020 wiped out due to the response toCOVID-19 pandemic. Curry went undrafted in the shortened five-round2020 MLB draft.[47] Instead, he signed as an undrafted free agent with theTexas Rangers for a $20,000signing bonus.[48]

Curry made his professional debut in 2021 with theACL Rangers of theRookie-levelArizona Complex League, going 0–1 with a 13.79 ERA and 23 strikeouts over15+23 innings. He split the 2022 season between the ACL Rangers and theDown East Wood Ducks of theLow-ACarolina League, going a combined 1–1 with a 4.23 ERA and 56 strikeouts over36+13 innings.[49] Curry split the 2023 season between Down East and theHickory Crawdads of theHigh-ASouth Atlantic League, going a combined 6–3 with a 2.75 ERA and 104 strikeouts over88+13 innings.[50][51]

David Alejandro Davalillo (born September 21, 2002) is a Venezuelan professionalbaseballpitcher for theTexas Rangers ofMajor League Baseball (MLB).

Davalillo signed with theNew York Mets as an international free agent in January 2021, and was released in 2022 without pitching in any games with the organization.[52] In June 2022, he signed a minor league contract with theTexas Rangers. He made his professional debut that year with theDominican Summer League Rangers.

Davalillo pitched 2023 with the rookie-levelArizona Complex League Rangers andDown East Wood Ducks and 2024 with Down East and theHickory Crawdads. He started 2025 with theHub City Spartanburgers.[53] Davalillo made 23 appearances (22 starts) for Hub City and the Double-AFrisco RoughRiders, posting a combined 6-4 record and 2.44 ERA with 126 strikeouts over 107 innings of work.

On November 18, 2025, Davalillo's contract was selected by Texas, in order to protect him from theRule 5 draft.[54]

Ryan Miguel Garcia (born January 24, 1998) is an Americanprofessional baseballpitcher in theTexas Rangers organization.

Garcia attendedLa Salle High School inPasadena, California.[55] As a senior in 2016, Garcia posted a 1.16 ERA with 48 strikeouts over42+13 innings.[56] Undrafted out of high school, he attended theUniversity of California, Los Angeles where he playedcollege baseball for theUCLA Bruins. As a freshman in 2017, he posted a 2–0 record with a 6.57 ERA over12+13 innings.[56] That summer he played for theWaterloo Bucks in theNorthwoods League, going 3–2 with a 1.88 ERA with 52 strikeouts over 48 innings.[57] As a sophomore in 2018, Garcia excelled to an 8–1 record with a 2.23 ERA and 76 strikeouts over76+23 innings.[56] He followed up that summer by playing in theCape Cod League for theWareham Gatemen, where he went 2–0 with a 1.29 ERA with 33 strikeouts over 28 innings.[58] Garcia's best season came as a junior in 2019. He posted a 10–1 record with a 1.44 ERA and 117 strikeouts over 94 innings.[59] He was named the 2019Pac-12 Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Year and was named a First Team All-American.[60]

Garcia was drafted by theTexas Rangers in the 2nd round of the2019 MLB draft.[61] He signed with them for a $1,469,900signing bonus.[62]

Garcia split his professional debut in 2019 between theAZL Rangers of theRookie-levelArizona League and theSpokane Indians of theClass A Short SeasonNorthwest League, posting a 3.60 ERA in 5 innings over 3 games.[63] He did not play in 2020 due to the cancellation of theMinor League Baseball season because of theCOVID-19 pandemic. Garcia suffered a tornUCL which requiredTommy John surgery in March 2020.[64] The surgery and his rehab caused him to miss the 2021 season. Garcia returned to game action in 2022 with theDown East Wood Ducks of theLow-ACarolina League and theHickory Crawdads of theHigh-ASouth Atlantic League, posting a combined 2–2 record with a 1.91 ERA and 74 strikeouts over56+23 innings.[65] Garcia spent the 2023 season with theFrisco RoughRiders of theDouble-ATexas League, struggling to a 3–9 record with a 6.66 ERA with 110 strikeouts over98+23 innings.

Trevor James Hauver (born November 20, 1998) is an Americanprofessional baseballoutfielder in theTexas Rangers organization.

Hauver attendedPerry High School inGilbert, Arizona, where he playedshortstop for the baseball team.[66] TheKansas City Royals selected him in the 37th round of the2017 MLB draft.[67] Hauver did not sign with the Royals, and attendedArizona State University, where he playedcollege baseball for theArizona State Sun Devils. In 2018 and 2019, he playedcollegiate summer baseball with theHyannis Harbor Hawks of theCape Cod Baseball League.[68][69]

TheNew York Yankees selected Hauver in the third round, with the 99th overall selection, of the2020 MLB draft.[70] He did not make his professional debut in 2020 due to the cancellation of theMinor League Baseball season due to theCOVID-19 pandemic. He began the 2021 season with theTampa Tarpons of theLow-A Southeast. He hit sixhome runs over his first five professional games.[71] He was named the Low-A Southeast Player of the Week for the week of May 4 to 9,[72] and Player of the Month for May.[73]

On July 29, 2021, Hauver along withJosh Smith,Glenn Otto, andEzequiel Durán were traded to theTexas Rangers in exchange forJoey Gallo andJoely Rodríguez.[74] Hauver was assigned to theHickory Crawdads of theHigh-A East following the trade, and hit .246/.357/.426/.783 with six home runs and 21 RBIs over 33 games for them.[75] Hauver split the 2022 season between Hickory and theFrisco RoughRiders of theDouble–ATexas League, hitting a combined .220/.387/.427 with 17 home runs and 70 RBI.[76][77] He played for theSurprise Saguaros of theArizona Fall League following the 2022 season.[78] Hauver returned to Frisco for the 2023 season, hitting .260/.375/.429/.803 with 12 home runs and 59 RBI.

Cooper Allen Johnson (born April 25, 1998) is an Americanprofessional baseballcatcher in theTexas Rangers organization.

Cooper attendedCarmel High School inMundelein, Illinois.[79] Johnson played in the 2015Under Armour All-America Baseball Game.[80] Johnson played for theUnited States national under-18 baseball team and won a gold medal with them at the2015 U-18 Baseball World Cup.[81] He was a top rated draft prospect for the2016 MLB draft, ranked number 33rd overall byESPN'sKeith Law.[82] Johnson was drafted by theCincinnati Reds in the 28th round but did not sign and choose to attend theUniversity of Mississippi to playcollege baseball for theRebels.[83] Johnson spent the 2017, 2018, and 2019 seasons at Ole Miss. His best season came as a junior in 2019, hitting .271/.371/.449 with 8 home runs and 32 RBI. In 2017, he playedcollegiate summer baseball with theOrleans Firebirds andYarmouth–Dennis Red Sox of theCape Cod Baseball League, and returned to the league in 2018 with theBourne Braves.[84][85][86]

Johnson was selected by theDetroit Tigers in the 6th round of the2019 MLB draft and signed with them for a $291,400signing bonus.[87]

Johnson split the 2019 season between theConnecticut Tigers and theWest Michigan Whitecaps, hitting a combined .198/.333/.298 with 2 home runs and 17 RBI.[88] He did not play in 2020 due to the cancellation of theMinor League Baseball season because of theCOVID-19 pandemic. He split the 2021 season between West Michigan and theLakeland Flying Tigers, hitting a combined .199/.333/.303 with 3 home runs and 31 RBI. He split the 2022 season between West Michigan and theErie SeaWolves, hitting a combined .160/.282/.223 with 1 home run and 4 RBI. He was released on August 15, 2022.

Johnson signed with theTexas Rangers before the 2023 season.[89] He split the 2023 season between theHickory Crawdads of theHigh-ASouth Atlantic League and theFrisco RoughRiders of theDouble-ATexas League, hitting a combined .206/.331/.328 with 3 home runs and 13 RBI. He spent the 2024 season with Frisco, hitting .235/.355/.474 with 14 home runs and 46 RBI. Johnson opened the 2025 spilt between Frisco and theRound Rock Express of theTriple-APacific Coast League.

Leandro José López (born June 17, 2002) is a Dominican professionalbaseballpitcher for theTexas Rangers ofMajor League Baseball (MLB).

Lopez signed as an international free agent with theTexas Rangers organization on January 15, 2021.[90] He played for theDSL Rangers of theRookie-levelDominican Summer League in his professional debut season of 2021, going 0–2 with a 5.02 ERA and 24 strikeouts over14+13 innings. He returned to the DSL in 2022, going 1–1 with a 1.83 ERA and 63 strikeouts over34+13 innings.[91] He spent the 2023 season with theDown East Wood Ducks of theLow-ACarolina League, going 2–5 with a 3.32 ERA and 79 strikeouts over 57 innings.[92] He spent the 2024 season with theHickory Crawdads of theHigh-ASouth Atlantic League, going 1–1 with a 9.00 ERA and 15 strikeouts, over just 13 innings due to shoulder and elbow injuries.[93] Following the 2024 season, he played for theSurprise Saguaros of theArizona Fall League.[93] Lopez opened the 2025 season with theHub City Spartanburgers of theHigh-ASouth Atlantic League, going 2–4 with a 2.19 ERA and 73 strikeouts over65+23 innings.[90] He was promoted to theFrisco RoughRiders of theDouble-ATexas League in July.[94]

On November 18, 2025, López's contract was selected by Texas, in order to protect him from theRule 5 draft.[95]

Lopez went by the last name Calderón, until the 2024 season.[90][96]

Bryan Magdaleno (born February 22, 2001) is a Dominicanprofessional baseballpitcher in theTexas Rangers organization.

Magdaleno signed as an international free agent with theTexas Rangers organization on August 23, 2019.[97] He did not make his professional debut in 2020 due to the cancellation of theMinor League Baseball season due to the reaction to theCOVID-19 pandemic. He was assigned to theDSL Rangers of theRookie-levelDominican Summer League for his professional debut season of 2021, going 0–2 with a 2.95 ERA and 35 strikeouts over36+23 innings.[97] He spent the 2022 season with theACL Rangers of theRookie-levelArizona Complex League, going 1–1 with a 4.12 ERA and 18 strikeouts over19+23 innings. He split the 2023 season between the ACL and theDown East Wood Ducks of theLow-ACarolina League, going a combined 1–1 with a 7.13 ERA and 27 strikeouts over17+23 innings.[97] Magdaleno split the 2024 season between Down East, theHickory Crawdads of theHigh-ASouth Atlantic League, and theFrisco RoughRiders of theDouble-ATexas League, going a combined 6–3 with a 1.27 ERA and 68 strikeouts over42+23 innings.[97] He was named the Texas Rangers 2024 Reliever of the Year.[98]

Abimelec Ortiz (born February 22, 2002) is a Puerto Rican professionalbaseballfirst baseman for theTexas Rangers ofMajor League Baseball (MLB).

Ortiz attended Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy inFlorida, Puerto Rico, where he hit .400 in his senior season.[99] He attendedFlorida SouthWestern State College inFort Myers, Florida to playcollege baseball. Ortiz hit .349 with nine home runs, 47 RBI, and five stolen bases in his freshman season of 2021.[100] Undrafted after that season, he signed a free agent contract with theTexas Rangers.[101]

Ortiz was assigned to theDSL Rangers of theRookie-levelDominican Summer League for his professional debut season of 2021 and hit .233/.419/.581 with 11 home runs, 33 RBI, and five stolen bases over 40 games.[102] He spent the 2022 season with theDown East Wood Ducks of theLow-ACarolina League, hitting .226/.308/.380/.688 with 11 home runs, 39 RBI, and six stolen bases over 94 games.[103] Ortiz returned to Kinston to open the 2023 season and hit .307/.392/.604 with seven home runs and 20 RBI over 20 games.[104] He was promoted to theHickory Crawdads of theHigh-ASouth Atlantic League on May 23.[105][106][107] Over 80 games with Hickory, Ortiz hit .290/.363/.624 with 26 home runs and 81 RBI.[108] He was named the Texas Rangers 2023Tom Grieve Player of the Year.[109] Following the 2023 season, Ortiz played for theSurprise Saguaros of theArizona Fall League.[45]

Ortiz made 130 appearances split between the Double-AFrisco RoughRiders and Triple-ARound Rock Express in 2025, hitting a combined .257/.356/.479 with 25 home runs and 89 RBI. On November 18, 2025, Oritz's contract was selected by Texas, in order to protect him from theRule 5 draft.[110]

Alejandro Antonio Rosario (born January 6, 2002) is an Americanprofessional baseballpitcher in theTexas Rangers organization.

Rosario attendedMiami Christian School inFontainebleau, Florida.[111] Rosario produced a 13–3 record with a 1.67 ERA and 165 strikeouts over142+23 innings in his high school career.[112] He helped pitch Miami Christian to the Class 2A-8 championship in 2019.[113] Rosario was part of Team USA three times in high school.[114] He was on the 2017 15U National Team, in the 2017 17U National Team Development Program, and on the 2019 18U National Team. He made three appearances in the2019 WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup, earning a silver medal.[114]

Undrafted out of high school, he attended theUniversity of Miami to playcollege baseball. He went 6–4 with a 5.21 ERA and 55 strikeouts over65+23 innings in 2021.[115] In 2022, he went 2–3 with a 7.05 ERA and 52 strikeouts over 60 innings.[115] Rosario played for theHyannis Harbor Hawks of theCape Cod Baseball League in the summer of 2022.[116] He posted a 5–6 record with a 7.11 ERA and 91 strikeouts over74+23 innings in 2024.[115] Rosario was drafted by theTexas Rangers in the 5th round of the2023 MLB draft.[117][118]

Rosario did not appear in a professional game in 2023 after signing. Instead, he was focused on reworking his mechanics and repertoire for the upcoming season by Texas.[119] He opened the 2024 season with theDown East Wood Ducks of theLow-ACarolina League, going 2–3 with a 2.11 ERA and 69 strikeouts over 47 innings.[120] He was promoted at the end of June to theHickory Crawdads of theHigh-ASouth Atlantic League.[121][119]

Rosario continued to work through the minor leagues in 2024. On September 3, 2024, he earned a promotion to Double-A Frisco of theDouble-ATexas League.[122] In High-A, he continued to dominate hitters, posting a record of 2-2, and recording an ERA of 2.40 over eight games (seven starts) in a combined 41⅓ innings with a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 60–8.

On February 23, 2025, it was announced that Rosario was likely to miss the entirety of the 2025 season due to an elbow injury that necessitated surgery.[123]

Winston Santos (born April 15, 2002) is a Dominican professionalbaseballpitcher for theTexas Rangers ofMajor League Baseball (MLB).

Santons signed with theTexas Rangers as an international free agent on July 2, 2019, for $10,000signing bonus.[124] He did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of theminor league season because of theCOVID-19 pandemic.[125] He split his debut season of 2021 between theDSL Rangers of theRookie-levelDominican Summer League and theACL Rangers of theRookie-levelArizona Complex League, going a combined 2–2 with a 3.27 ERA and 36 strikeouts over 33 innings.

Santos spent the 2022 season with theDown East Wood Ducks of theSingle–ACarolina League, going 7–6 with a 3.49 ERA and 108 strikeouts over108+13 innings. Santos returned to Hickory to open the 2024 season, going 6–3 with a 2.80 ERA and 81 strikeouts over64+13 innings.[127] He was promoted to theFrisco RoughRiders of theDouble–ATexas League in June.[128][129] Santos represented Texas at the 2024All-Star Futures Game.[130] Following the season, the Rangers added Santos to their40-man roster to protect him from theRule 5 draft.[131]

Santos was optioned to Double-A Frisco to begin the 2025 season.[132]

Joshua James Stephan (born November 1, 2001) is an Americanprofessional baseballpitcher in theTexas Rangers organization.

Stephan attendedSouth Grand Prairie High School inGrand Prairie, Texas.[137] Before his senior season of 2020 was cut short due to theCOVID-19 pandemic, Stephan recorded 20 strikeouts over 14 innings pitched.[138] He had committed to attendStephen F. Austin University to playcollege baseball.[139] Stephan was not selected in the shortened five-round2020 MLB Draft, but choose to sign as an undrafted free agent with theTexas Rangers for the maximum allowedsigning bonus of $20,000.[140]

Stephan split his professional debut season of 2021 between theACL Rangers of theRookie-levelArizona Complex League and theDown East Wood Ducks of theLow-A East, going a combined 2–2 with a 5.18 ERA and 50 strikeouts over 40 innings.[141] Stephan made 21 starts in 2022, with the first 19 back with Down East and the final three games for theHickory Crawdads of theHigh-ASouth Atlantic League. He posted a combined 6–5 record with a 3.14 ERA and 115 strikeouts over103+13 innings in 2022.[142] Stephan returned to Hickory to open the 2023 season.[143][144] After posting a 6–3 record with a 2.17 ERA and 73 strikeouts over62+13 innings, he was promoted to theFrisco RoughRiders of theDouble-ATexas League on July 4.[145] Stephan made just one start for Frisco before missing the rest of the season due to a lower back injury.[146]

Emiliano Teodo (born February 14, 2001) is a Dominican professionalbaseballpitcher for theTexas Rangers ofMajor League Baseball (MLB).

Teodo signed with theTexas Rangers as an international free agent on January 28, 2020 for a $10,000signing bonus.[147] He made his professional debut in 2021 with theArizona Complex League Rangers of theRookie-levelArizona Complex League, going 4–2 with a 3.38 ERA and 48 strikeouts over29+23 innings.[148] Teodo spent the 2022 season with theDown East Wood Ducks of theLow-ACarolina League, going 3–6 with a 3.09 ERA and 115 strikeouts over84+13 innings.[149] He spent the 2023 season with theHickory Crawdads of theHigh-ASouth Atlantic League, going 5–3 with a 4.52 ERA and 84 strikeouts over61+23 innings.[150] Following the 2023 season, he played for theSurprise Saguaros in theArizona Fall League.[151] Teodo recorded 19 strikeouts over scoreless 11 innings in 8 games, and was named the 2023 AFL Reliever of the Year.[152]

Teodo opened the 2024 season with theFrisco RoughRiders of theDouble-ATexas League.[153] Teodo represented Texas at the 2024All-Star Futures Game.[154] In 20 games (19 starts) for Frisco, he logged a 5–4 record and 1.98 ERA with 110 strikeouts across86+13 innings pitched. Following the season, the Rangers added Teodo to their40-man roster to protect him from theRule 5 draft.[131]

Teodo was optioned to the Triple-ARound Rock Express to begin the 2025 season.[155]
