District 35 is a district in theTexas House of Representatives. It was created in the3rd Legislature (1849–1851).[1]
The district comprises portions ofCameron andHidalgo counties.[2][3] It also includes the cities andCensus-designated places ofLa Feria,San Benito,Duffing,La Homa,La Joya,Penitas, and a small percentage ofBrownsville.[4] It has been represented byOscar Longoria since 2013.[5]
