Terry Klassen is a Canadian voice actor, ADR director and writer. Before animation, Klassen worked in radio in Winnipeg (CITI-FM), Toronto (Q107), Calgary (CFAC), Portage la Prairie (CFRY) and part-time at CFOX and CFMI. In animation, he is best known for his work onMy Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, being a voice director on all episodes and theEquestria Girls series. Klassen has also voice-directed other shows such asEd, Edd n Eddy,Johnny Test,Mega Babies and severalBarbie films, as well as the English dub ofCardcaptors. Klassen has also voiced many characters for animated films and television series, includingSylvester inBaby Looney Tunes,Tusky Husky inKrypto the Superdog, Tony and Seth Parsons inThe Cramp Twins, and Krillin in theOcean-dubbed version ofDragon Ball Z.

Klassen was born to Mary (née Unruh) and Walter Klassen.[1]

Career

Klassen co-createdYvon of the Yukon. He is the voice director for shows and films includingMartha Speaks,Johnny Test,Max Steel,George of the Jungle,Ed, Edd n Eddy, theBarbie franchise,Transformers,Cardcaptors,Salty's Lighthouse,G.I. Joe,Pucca,My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic,Littlest Pet Shop, andPac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. Klassen is also a writer and owned a production company withIan James Corlett which helped with localizations,[2] and also he was a story editor on theBakugan series. He was nominated for aDaytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing in an Animated Program forMartha Speaks.
