Terry Ehret (born 1955 inSan Francisco) is an Americanpoet. She has published several collections of poetry including Suspensions, Lost Body, and Translations from the Human Language.

Life

She graduated fromStanford University in 1977, and fromSan Francisco State University in 1984, with an MA.[1] She is the co-founder ofSixteen Rivers Press, a shared-work publishing collective forSan Francisco Bay Area poets.[2]

She served as poet laureate ofSonoma County, from 2004 to 2006,[3] where she lives with her husband.[4]
