Theten city-kingdoms of Cyprus are listed in a 673–672 BC inscription attributed toEsarhaddon, who ruled theNeo-Assyrian Empire from 681 BC to 669 BC. These kingdoms wereGreek, Greco-Phoenician, and Greco-Eteocypriot in origin.[1]
