I think the reason to have two groups in this case is because the regional elections are a result of the new constitution adopted via the 2017 referendum. This devolved much power to the new regional bodies, including many of the powers of the former senate.Sladnick (talk)20:28, 6 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

For simplicity's sake, I think we should list them all under "local election" titles. The articles on UK local elections cover a wide range of different authorities at different levels and it doesn't seem to be an issue. However, if the articles ever exist and get too large, then I wouldn't have a problem splitting them.Number5720:36, 6 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
