I just started a template for topics related to the end of human civilization, humanity, the Earth, and the universe. It's still very much a rough draft right now, and isn't ready for any articles, but eventually it should be wroth something. NamedTemplate:Doomsday for now. --Wasted Sapience21:34, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
End of the world andDoomsday cover a lot of the same thing, but different terms. I might have called this template "End of the world" and linked to it as the top-level article.. but then I can see why Doomsday was chosen also. How we do we deal with Doomsday vs EOTW and are there any others like that? --Stbalbach00:25, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If no-one minds, I will delete the astronomical links in the template. Doomsday, according to the article, is a possible ending to all human life, in an scientific or metaphysical way. Theultimate end of the universe doesn't seem part of it, in my humble opinion. --Soetermans (talk)13:00, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
