Good work on organizing a start -- I'd suggest that "Opus" isn't a good category; keyboard work would be better. The Gloria should be under church music. Some of the oratorios are duplicates in Italian and English versions. Works encompasses almost everything below except the last three categories. I sort of feel like the template though is a bit big to use at the bottom of articles. Perhaps a smaller template just including the categories of works, a prominent link to the list of works (perhaps by category but not with every work listed) would be better? Handel wrote dozens (hundreds?) of works that do not yet have WP articles; if those works ever get articles, the template could quickly become quite unwieldy. There is no category for "anthems' except "Coronation anthems" which already included "The ways of Zion do mourn" which is not a coronation anthem, and I added an article I created for the Wedding Anthem for Frederick, Prince of Wales. It is my intention sometime fairly soon to create an article on the Chandos anthems, and they are not coronation anthems either. I went ahead and changed it to "anthems" and I have created an articleChandos Anthem No.1 /Jubilate in D Major "O, be joyful in the Lord". I plan to create single articles on all eleven Chandos anthems, and then one article on all of them. Yes, it will make this template too big. I'm afraid I can't answer your questions about whether we need it or not or if it can be collapsed by default, I don't know, but as long as it is there it seems wrong not to keep it comprehensive.Smeat75 (talk)02:35, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
