– For some states there are election footer templates (navboxes), and we need to keep these apart. E.g.:{{Massachusetts elections}},{{Texas elections}} (which should be renamed to "Elections in XXX footer"). This proposal also brings consistency to all template names, both between these templates themselves and with regard to main articles (with the exception of the U.S. Virgin Islands name, which is abbreviated). NB: there are redirects to the current template names, which might need manual editing after the move – if it goes through.HandsomeFella (talk)08:26, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
