For this campaignbox I have used links for events that are mentioned in theGaza-Israel conflict article. More links may need to be added, or some might need to be deleted. I dont intend to be the watchdog for this, so feel free to do as you (whoever) wish.--$1LENCE D00600D (talk)00:10, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The 2018 border part should be changed to "2018 border protests" because they were mainly protests and not actual fighting. They were not clashes of a military nature as in 2019, nor were they actual wars like in 2014. Just to specify.2601:85:C101:BA30:F114:FAD4:FBC:646D (talk)22:47, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I want to add the 2023 Lebanon-Israel Shellings to this page, as it involves Gazan military groups, such as HAMAS and The PIJHaskko (talk)15:02, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not completely sure this belongs in the template, but I thought I would recommend it for discussion.Tule-hog (talk)21:25, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I'm learning about the Israel - Gaza conflict and found that some of the casualty numbers could be updated with more current data. In particular, the following line in the article:
---
The number of Gazans reportedly killed in the ongoing 2023–2024 war (37,000) is higher than the death toll of all other wars of the Arab–Israeli conflict.[5][6]
---
could be upgraded to:
---
The number of Gazans reportedly killed in the ongoing 2023–2024 war (40,000) is higher than the death toll of all other wars of the Arab–Israeli conflict.[5][6]
---
The source for this new data was retrieved from the Israel - Hamas article here:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel%E2%80%93Hamas_warwhere the following statement is made:
---
Since the start of the Israeli invasion, over 40,000 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed,[z] more than half of them women and children.[142][143][144]
---
The relevant source ishttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel%E2%80%93Hamas_war#cite_note-Tantesh-170, which references the Guardian, a fairly reputable source here:https://www.theguardian.com/world/article/2024/aug/15/gaza-death-toll-hits-40000-with-thousands-more-yet-to-be-counted
I think it's important for the data to be up-to-date to inform readers of the impact with objectivity.
Thank you for reading and considering this!MgenGlder (talk)00:52, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
