Usage

Use this rcat template onmainspace redirects only.

If this rcat is added to a redirect that is in any namespace other than mainspace, an error box will appear on the redirect, and the redirect will be sorted toCategory:Pages with templates in the wrong namespace.

This redirect category (rcat) template populatesCategory:Redirects from Unicode codes andCategory:Unprintworthy redirects by default. In 2003, efforts were begun to support theWikimedia Foundation's goal of increasing access and availability ofWikipedia articles inprinted versions. Redirects from Unicode symbols are not suitable for a printed version. In other words they areunprintworthy.

Please do not alter the printworthy settings of this rcat without first notifying theVersion 1.0 Editorial Team, who are responsible for any and all materials, including redirects, that go into a printed version ofWikipedia.
