Articles should contain information that indicates or illustrates thenotability andpopularity of the article's topic. A verifiable history of the drink, documented use by notable people or in notable situations, and frequent references within popular or historical cultures, all help an article stand on its own and reduce the likelihood that the article will or should be deleted.
This particular template identifies articles concerningmixed drinks (any drink, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, where two or more drinks are mixed together),cocktail garnishes, and relateddrinkware that are stubs.
