This template simplifies the use of frequently-quoted geographical reference sources. It is based on the 2011 version of the templateGeoQuelle from German Wikipedia, but is not restricted to German language sources. The aim is a uniform display of the reference and simplified maintenance in the event of changes to referenced online sources. The references are taken from the subtemplate{{GeoSource/list}}.
The reference is embedded as standard in<ref></ref> in order to display them in the "References" section. However it can also be displayed as normal text (enter "ref=no").
