Town of ancient Caria

Telmessos orTelmessus (Ancient Greek:Τελμησσός or Τελμισσός), was a town inancient Caria.

Its site is tentatively located at the remains nearGörece in westernAnatolia.[1][2] There was a shrine dedicated to the nymphDaphne in Telmessos.[3]
